Burkina Faso’s LONAB Expands Faso Loto 5/90 to Daily Draws, Up From Three Weekly Sessions
Burkina Faso’s National Lottery (LONAB) has significantly increased its draw frequency recently. The operator boosted Faso Loto 5/90 from three weekly draws to seven. This change took effect when the lottery moved to daily draws on September 1.
Before this update, the game followed a limited schedule. Draws happened only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays previously. This comes according to LONAB’s published 2026 records. Now, players can access the game every single day. Draws now run continuously from Monday through Sunday. A LONAB notice confirmed this exciting change clearly. “Faso Loto 5/90 is now available every day, from Monday to Sunday,” the notice stated.
Each Day Features a Unique Draw Name
This new daily schedule uses distinct names across the week. LONAB’s September results reveal this naming pattern clearly. Nékré runs on Mondays, while Cadeau takes place on Tuesdays. Kounandia follows on Wednesdays, with Etoile bonheur scheduled for Thursdays. Welhy appears on Fridays, followed by Magic on Saturdays. Finally, Barka closes out the week on Sundays.
Local Media Covers the Expanded Schedule
This expanded schedule has already appeared across local media coverage. Wakat Séra published Faso Loto 5/90 results recently. Their coverage included the September 9, 10, and 11 draws specifically. Meanwhile, leFaso.net also covered the expanded schedule extensively. Their reporting included results from September 6, 7, 8, and 9 draws.
Expansion Follows Strong Sales Performance
This scheduling expansion arrives at an interesting moment for LONAB. It comes shortly after the operator recorded impressive sales figures. LONAB reported a 9% year-on-year progression in sales recently. Interim director-general Aymar Tiendrebeogo presented these encouraging figures.
This positive momentum builds on other strong results throughout 2026. LONAB had already achieved 102% of its first-half target this year. Management highlighted continued commercial momentum across the network. This expansion of Faso Loto 5/90 reflects that same growth trajectory. It gives players more opportunities to participate while building on recent success.
