LONAGUI Engages PMU France on Future of Horse-Race Betting in Africa
Guinea’s National Lottery, LONAGUI, is taking part in strategic discussions in Paris with PMU France and other African lottery partners to explore the future of horse-race betting.
According to LONAGUI, the meeting held with PMU France’s international team focused on evolving the PMU model and identifying ways to modernise horse-race betting operations across participating markets. The discussions are aimed at strengthening collaboration and aligning with global best practices.
The lottery operator said the engagement reflects its broader commitment to innovation, strategic partnerships, and improving the efficiency of its PMU offering in Guinea. By leveraging shared industry experience, LONAGUI aims to enhance its services and deliver a more forward-looking betting experience for customers.
The Paris talks form part of LONAGUI’s wider modernisation agenda for 2026. Earlier in the year, the organisation reiterated its focus on digital transformation, innovation, and cybersecurity during the African Lotteries Association seminar held in Dakar.
PMU France continues to support national lottery operators across francophone Africa, providing horse-race betting expertise and access to international racing content through its global PMU network.
