LNB and LONACI Deepen Collaboration with Knowledge-Sharing Visit

Loterie Nationale du Bénin (LNB SA) and LONACI are strengthening cross-border collaboration following a high-level knowledge-sharing mission in Abidjan focused on operational excellence and industry best practices.

The Beninese delegation, led by managing director Marius Adanzounon, began a four-day visit on July 21 aimed at exchanging expertise and exploring strategies to enhance lottery operations, responsible gaming, and customer engagement.

Hosted at LONACI’s headquarters, the delegation was received by director general Dramane Coulibaly, who also serves as president of the African Lotteries Association, alongside deputy director general Abdoulkarim Ouattara.

The programme includes technical sessions with key departments covering planning and performance monitoring, information systems, marketing, customer experience, sales network management, and responsible gaming frameworks. The engagement is designed to support knowledge transfer and strengthen institutional capacity within Benin’s lottery system.

According to LONACI, the mission was inspired by its strong operational performance and reputation as a leading model within the African lottery sector. The organisation has been recognised for its structured approach to governance, digital innovation, and responsible gaming practices.

Speaking during the visit, Coulibaly emphasised the importance of regional cooperation, noting that collaboration and knowledge exchange remain essential for building sustainable and competitive lottery markets across Africa.

The initiative reflects a broader trend within the Africa gaming industry, where national lottery operators are increasingly working together to share expertise, harmonise standards, and drive innovation across Francophone markets.
