The Association of Gaming Operators Kenya (AGOK) has reaffirmed its commitment to regulatory compliance, responsible gaming, and industry collaboration following its second-quarter members’ meeting held on June 27.
According to the association, the meeting brought together gaming operators to assess developments across the sector, with discussions focusing on compliance, sustainable business growth, responsible gaming, and strengthening partnerships among industry stakeholders.
A key highlight was the recognition of AGOK’s #ChukuaControl campaign, which received the Safer Gambling Champion award at the Gamble Alert Responsible Gaming Awards 2026. The initiative has played a significant role in promoting responsible gambling and raising public awareness of gambling-related risks.
Building on this achievement, AGOK announced the launch of the second phase of the #ChukuaControl campaign. The digital-first initiative aims to expand its online reach and reinforce responsible gambling messages through digital platforms as part of the association’s ongoing commitment to safer gaming practices.
