Guinea’s LONAGUI Puts Cybersecurity and AI at Core of Lottery Modernisation
The operator disclosed the strategic direction following its participation at the recent African Lotteries Association (ALA) seminar and general assembly held in Dakar, where stakeholders discussed innovation, digital transformation, and the future development of African lotteries.
According to LONAGUI, the discussions reinforced the need for African lottery operators to strengthen digital infrastructure while improving governance, transparency, and operational efficiency. The lottery highlighted several focus areas within its modernization roadmap, including AI integration, enhanced cybersecurity systems, stronger data protection mechanisms, improved operational traceability, and wider technology-driven reforms.
The emphasis on cybersecurity and compliance-focused innovation comes as lottery operators across the continent continue expanding digital gaming channels and adopting more technology-enabled operational models.
By placing AI and cybersecurity at the center of its long-term strategy, LONAGUI appears to be positioning itself toward a more secure, transparent, and digitally resilient lottery ecosystem capable of supporting future growth and evolving regulatory expectations within Africa’s gaming sector.
