The African iGaming Alliance (AIA) has been recognised at the 2026 Gaming Tech Summit Africa (GTSA) Awards Night for its outstanding contribution to advancing collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable growth within Africa’s gaming industry.

The award acknowledges the Alliance’s growing role as a unifying platform for Africa’s gaming industry. Through its commitment to fostering dialogue, encouraging responsible industry practices, and creating opportunities for collaboration, the African iGaming Alliance has become an important voice in shaping conversations around the future of gaming on the continent.
Since its establishment, the Alliance has worked to bridge the gap between key industry stakeholders by promoting knowledge sharing, regulatory engagement, and cross-border cooperation. As gaming markets across Africa continue to expand, the Alliance has been at the forefront of efforts to promote responsible gaming, strengthen industry standards, encourage innovation, and support regulatory frameworks that balance consumer protection with market development. Through conferences, stakeholder engagements, research initiatives, and advocacy programmes, the organisation has consistently championed a collaborative approach to industry advancement.
The recognition comes at a pivotal moment for Africa’s gaming sector, which is experiencing rapid growth driven by digital transformation, increased mobile connectivity, and rising consumer participation. In this evolving environment, organisations such as the African iGaming Alliance play a critical role in ensuring that industry growth is supported by strong partnerships, informed dialogue, and shared best practices.
